The minimum age for group lessons is 8 years old. Where possible we keep children and families together.
We offer a range of private surf lessons for younger children under the age of 8.
Yes, all of our surf lessons include wetsuits & surfboards suited to your ability.
Our private family surf lessons welcome children 8 years & up. These sessions are exclusive to your group giving you the freedom to go at your own pace. We stay with you at all times and keep a close eye on any younger members / weaker swimmers.
There is no previous experience needed. 99% of people who join us have never been coasteering before. We’ll teach you everything you need to know and you don’t have to do anything you don’t wish to.
As long as we deem the sea conditions to be safe to conduct a Coasteer session we will head out in the rain. Being by the coast we often find the weather changing quite quickly so there’s no surprise to head out in the rain only to find the sun come out by the end of the session. In the world of water sports you’re going to get wet anyway!
