It was he who launched the evangelical faith among Ethiopians in the late nineteenth century. Onesimos is also known for laying a foundation for Oromo literature, primarily reading materials for common people and children. This essay explores the life and ministry of Onesimos and his role in bringing about religious, social, economic, and political reforms in Ethiopia. The Beginning of the Evangelical Faith Movemen
