Our beloved longtime collaborator, mentor and friend, Alan Fountain, passed away in Alan Fountain initially joined EAVE in and since that time actively served in several important capacities, from Head of Studies to our President. During his time with EAVE, he worked directly with over participants – from every corner of Europe as well as many from the rest of the world – doubtlessly changing their careers and profoundly affecting their professional lives.
An EAVE Producers Workshop scholarship has been set up in the name of, and especially to honour the memory of Alan Fountain. Donations are now being collected for the EAVE ALAN FOUNTAIN INTERNATIONAL SCHOLARSHIP FUND.
The goal of EAVE ALAN FOUNTAIN INTERNATIONAL SCHOLARSHIP FUND is to enable one producer from outside the EU, and preferably with a documentary project, to participate in all three sessions of the EAVE Producers Workshop each year.

Fifteen accomplished producers hailing from various corners of the globe have been selected to participate in the third edition of the Creative Producer Indaba (CPI).
This highly respected film industry professional development programme begins with an open assembly on 6 November, after which the cohort will attend the renowned Atlas Workshops, the dynamic industry programme of the Marrakech International Film Festival, Morocco from 25 November to 1 December where they will focus on legal and financial aspects of their work, as well as their own career development. Following this, they will attend the International Film Festival Rotterdam (Netherlands) from 25 January to 2 February, where the programme will focus on marketing, sales and story development. The Indaba then culminates in a programme of online sessions from 8 to 12 April
