Deryck Whibley, lead vocalist for Sum 41, was photographed in Los Angeles on Monday looking frail and weak after nearly dying from alcoholism. The photo shows 34-year-old with fiancée Jocelyn Aguilar and another woman, being held up as he walks down the street.
The shocking photo emerged three days after the rocker posted about his struggled with alcoholism, which nearly took his life, on his blog. According to the post entitled “Rock Bottom,” Whibley, who was once married to pop star Avril Lavigne, spent a week in the hospital being treated for alcohol addiction and attached to an IV drip.
"I was drinking hard every day. Until one night. I was sitting at home, poured myself another drink around midnight and was about to watch a movie when all of a sudden I didn’t feel so good," Whibley wrote.
