    Horne was born in Little Rock, Arkansas. She received a BA in the Humanities from Hendrix College. At the University of Alabama, Horne has received an MA in English, an MFA in Creative Writing, and an MA in Community Counseling.[2]

    Horne has published three collections of poetry: Bottle Tree, Little Wanderer, and Borrowed Light. In , she published the short story collection Tell the World You’re a Wildfower.[3] She has edited or co-edited four volumes of poetry, essays, and stories. This includes a collection of her mother's poetry Root & Plant & Bloom: Poems by Dodie Walton Horne, which she co-edited with her sister.[4] In , she published a full-length biography of Sara Mayfield, who wrote biographies of H. L. Mencken and his wife Sara Haardt and of F. Scott and Zelda Fitzgerald.     Jenny Anderson Horne (born October 12, ) is an American attorney and politician who served as a member of the South Carolina House of Representatives from to She is a Republican.

    Jenny Anderson Horne, the daughter of John D. Anderson, Jr. and Cynthia W. Anderson, was born on October 12, , in Dorchester County, South Carolina.[2] She earned a Bachelor of Arts degree in English and Juris Doctor from the University of South Carolina.[3]
